What Our Clients Say

Tour of Generosity

The Infinite Horizon collaborated with their well-known service providers to arrange Tour Guides, Accommodation and meals and flights coordinated into a trip of a lifetime to East Africa as a raffle prize to raise much needed funds for The School of St Jude in Arusha. As the winners of this amazing opportunity, Steve and I were impressed by the personal attention to detail, support, thoughtful communication, specialised knowledge and professional organisation of Teena and Steve from the notification as winners and pre-travel itinerary and arrangements, throughout the amazing trip and afterwards. Teena was communicating with our guides and accommodation providers consistently ensuring smooth running of the itinerary and satisfaction of us as guests/travellers and making any adjustments required quickly and smoothly. Teena and Steve’s generous initiative to establish what will hopefully become an annual fundraising event is impressive and inspirational. The arranged itinerary show-cased their intimate knowledge of the highlights of Tanzania and the absolute best companies to provide the most exciting and interesting experiences for their guests. This was also an amazing opportunity for us to return to Africa to spend more time with our sponsor child at The School of St Jude and her family. We are very appreciative of all of this. Asante Sana Teena and Steve.

The group was very pleased with the pre-trip support and the professional care taken in the preparation of the Itinerary. Email contact was good and responses immediate. This allowed a high degree of confidence in the Itinerary and surety of good support while in Tanzania. The suggestions made while designing the Itinerary were sensible and the group benefited from good local knowledge.
It was reassuring having contact with Tanzanian residences with an understanding of the two West Australian schools involved and the need for detailed pre-trip information – particularly regarding Risk Management, which is an important feature of the planning process and a requirement for all trips.
The overwhelming response from tour group members and parents has been one of absolute satisfaction with the experience.
The schools are happy to use The Infinite Horizon company once more to plan the next trip.

” From the moment we arrived in Arusha, The Infinite Horizon team clearly had all of our plans and day to day needs comprehensively in hand.  This was wonderful assurance in such an interesting and unfamiliar country. The balance in the itinerary was excellent, from rich valleys and the extraordinary Ngorongoro crater, past dramatic highlands and out to the beautiful Serengeti. Our flight back, over our safari route, was exquisite. We enjoyed a wonderful variety of excellent accommodation and sumptuous cuisine. All fabulous value for money.”

“Helping others is an important personal attribute which the colleges’ year 10 students have been putting into action all year with their fundraising for Zambian primary school students.
Today saw students purchase much needed school supplies such as paper, glue, scissors and crayons from Morawa News and Gifts. The money for the purchase was raised by propagating then selling native plants.
Greg Jenkins from Morawa News and Gifts allowed our money to stretch even further by offering a discount on the supplies.
The supplies now have a six month journey across the Indian Ocean and up the Zambezi River to Tukongote Preschool.

I was privileged to go on trip to Zambia, organised by The Infinite Horizon. During the trip one of the hotel staff members took us to his village. This was the amazing experience and ever since my family and local school (I’m a teacher) have been keeping in contact and sending over school supplies. Thank you to The Infinite horizon for tailor making such a personal trip for us. Life changing experience.

Brilliant planning for an amazing holiday
“We were really impressed with the Infinite Horizon. Steve and Teena helped us plan our safari and our time in Zanzibar and were very patient with us as we made our choices. It’s a very personalised service and they genuinely seemed to want to our holiday to be perfect for us. We vacillated over various details here and there and they were very understanding. Our safari guide Baraka was worth his weight in gold – just an amazing wealth of knowledge not just about the wildlife, but anything else we asked him about – such a great guy.
It’s obvious they only work with decent guides and accommodation. They gave us lots of information about the various hotels and lodges so we could make up our minds about where to stay and so on. We were travelling with two fairly young children but they were able to advise about suitable trips and we easily managed a full six days covering Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro crater, before spending a week and a half in various places around Zanzibar. Steve and Teena organised all our internal flights and transfers around Zanzibar, based on our preferences. They threw in a lot of good advice for the trip, even about mundane things like tipping, which was really helpful.
When initially planning our trip we had some reservations about using a tour company to plan things as we had travelled a lot previously and had always organised things directly ourselves, but there is so much to plan that is peculiar to the whole safari thing that we’d frankly have been well out of our depths if we’d tried to do it ourselves. Knowing that Steve and Teena had planned it all provided huge peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our holiday rather than be constantly worrying about whether our transfer was going to arrive in time to get us to the airport, or whether our paperwork and payment was going to be in order to get into the national park etc. etc. I’d have worried less about these things when I was young, but being a little older and having kids you really don’t want hassle. Also, at their suggestion, we did a couple of things like a village tour in the Rift Valley, and a spice tour in Zanzibar, which we probably wouldn’t have considered if planning everything ourselves, but actually we’re really glad we did them both.
I’m sure being a fairly small, family-run business helps too – it’s nothing like arranging a holiday through a large tour company where you’d never get to speak to the same person twice. Instead they provided a highly personalised consistent service which we genuinely felt we could trust.
All in all, I can’t recommend the Infinite Horizon highly enough. We had a totally fabulous holiday and it’s largely down to Steve and Teena – thank you!
