Fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport near Arusha. On arrival transfer to Rivertrees Country Inn for the night. A boutique lodge set in an old coffee farm, with good food and a romantic atmosphere.

Day 1
Enjoy breakfast on the terrace before driving to Tarangire National Park. The incredible diversity of bird life in this park is well known, as are the density of elephants and other wildlife including lion, leopard and python.
Drive through rugged baobab country and riverine terrain before arriving at Oliver’s Camp. A small luxury tented camp that focuses on specialist knowledge of the area and one of the few places where you can walk in big game country.

Day 2
Rise early for a professionally led walking safari and later enjoy a well-earned bush breakfast. Continue to explore the beauty and wildlife of Tarangire by four wheel drive. Spend another relaxing evening in Oliver’s camp.
Day 3
Depart with a picnic lunch to the Ngorogoro Crater, en-route glimpse Lake Manyara and the Great African Rift Valley. Spend the afternoon exploring the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact caldera and one of the most spectacular sights in Africa. In one game drive it is possibe to see, lions, bull elephants, buffalo, the endangered black rhino and the secretive leopard slinking through the forest. Ascend to the crater rim to spend the night at Misigio Camp. A luxury eco friendly tented camp that treats guests to an authentic Maasai cultural experience.
Day 4
Following breakfast, transfer to the local airstrip for your flight into The Serengeti a World Heritage Area. The annual migration of huge herds of wildebeest, gaszelles and zebras followed by their predators is one of the most impressive natural events in the world. On arrival game drive to the beautiful Sayari Camp, an exclusive, luxury tented camp located on the Mara River in the northern Serengeti. The migration usually roams around the area from mid July to November, and in this time frame you may be lucky enough to see the famous Mara River Crossing.

Day 5 & 6
Spend the next two days exploring the beautiful wilderness of the Serengeti. After game drives, return to Sayari Camp where you can overlook the Serengeti from the infinity pool, or relax in the privacy of your veranda, or by the warmth of the fire place.

Day 7, 8 & 9
Take a light aircraft across the country to Katavi National Park. Katavi is remote, wild and home to huge numbers of buffalo, hippos and crocs. On arrival transfer to Chada Katavi, an elegant and luxurious camp that specializes in walking and fly camping, the most delicious and purest way of being at one with the wildeness. You have 3 glorious days to explore Katavi from this camp.

Day 10, 11 & 12
Depart for Mahale Mountains National Park. The short flight will take you over mountains that is home to one of the largest habituated groups of chimpanzee. Your exotic journey continues by boat along the crystal clear ribbon of Lake Tanganyika, to the barefoot luxury of Greystoke Camp set on a beach of white sand. You have 3 days to enjoy the delights of Mahale. Trek for chimpanzee, hike through the forest, kayak, snorkel or simply soak up the sun.

Day 13
Fly back to Arusha over the plains of Western Tanzania, the Rift Valley, the Ngorogoro Highlands and back to Arusha to stay at Rivertrees Country Inn.

Day 14
Depending on your flight time you can spend the day relaxing or looking around the town of Arusha and its vicinity. We can arrange a number of different activities for you to do including souvenir shopping, a cultural village walk, a coffee farm tour or kayaking. Later transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey where will say goodbye and "safari njema"
